Access Log Manager
Find out more on the Access Log Manager and also the details that may be inside.
An access log contains a record of all the files that have been requested by the visitors while browsing your Internet site. The list is detailed, so in case you have a webpage with 2 embedded images, for example, all of the three files will be in the log, not just the page. An access log typically contains the date, the Operating System, the web browser and the IP address for each file in human-readable form, so you can get an idea about the hottest files on your site. The log, that's also frequently named "raw data", is an addition to the web statistics which you typically get with a hosting account, not a substitute. A good example why you may need this sort of a log is if you intend to use some software on your personal computer to prepare a report about the website’s functionality, but you don't want to use the regular graphs and tables that come with the server-generated web statistics.

Access Log Manager in Shared Hosting
When you opt for one of our shared hosting solutions, you’ll receive thorough access logs for all of your sites. Once you sign in to your Hepsia Control Panel, you can check out the Access/Error Logs section where you will see an extensive list of the domains and subdomains that you have added or created within the web hosting account. You'll only need to click on the On button, which is situated on the right-hand side of each hostname and our cloud platform will start generating logs right away. To stop this function, you will have to follow the exact same steps and click on the Off button. The domains and subdomains can be handled separately and whenever you want. You will find a download link inside the Logs section of the Control Panel for any log generated by our system, so you can save the file to your computer system and view it or use it via some log processing software.
- Access Log Manager in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you have a semi-dedicated server account with us, it will not take more than a few clicks to enable the generation of access logs by our system if you need them. The function could be enabled from the Hepsia hosting Control Panel and this could be done individually for each domain or subdomain you have in your account. After you log in and go to the Access/Error Logs section of the CP, you will see a list of all the hostnames with an On/Off button next to every one of them. A single click will trigger the log generation and a second one shall deactivate it, so you can control this function with great convenience. A Download link within the same section will permit you to save the compiled content as a text file, which you may then use on your notebook or computer. Even if the logs are deactivated, you'll still be able to download the data that has been previously generated. - Access Log Manager in Semi-dedicated Hosting
